Halloweentown II ( Halloweentown II: Calabar's Revenge ) is an American television movie comedy by Mary Lambert from the year 2001 . It is a sequel to the Disney Channel Original Movie comedy Halloween Town, released in 1998.

action

Marnie Piper is said to be living in Halloweentown with her grandmother Aggie Cromwell for a year. She meets the boy Kal, whom she tries to impress. Aggie discovers evil magical powers near the boy. It turns out that Kal is a son of the hostile Kalabar who stole a book of spells from Aggie. He wants to avenge his father. To do this, he wants to transform all residents of Halloweentown into people at midnight, while transforming the people in the real world into what they have dressed up as.

Kal casts spells on the real world. Marnie and Aggie are trapped in Halloweentown in the fantastic world, but they open up an additional portal that leads into the real world. They fight Kal, who disappears there.

TV Today magazine wrote that the film was intended for the youngest audience. The lexicon of international films praises the film as an amusing, almost a little too well-behaved horror comedy, which gives young viewers pleasant shudders without shocks.
