WikiForce SmashBros's First GA!!!

Ssbm is our first GA!!!!!--Smashbrosboy (talk) 21:34, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It was not just me. A group of editors did this. By the time I got the Task Force up, the article had already gone for GA nomination.--Smashbrosboy (talk) 00:47, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

January 2008

Thank you for making a report about User:JeffHardyChampion (talk · contribs · block log) on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators are generally only able to block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize even after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Thank you! You only warned this editor once, not enough for a submittal to WP:AIV. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 04:08, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, if he continues to vandalize articles at a pace that you can't keep up with him, after you've already warned him, you can always use {{subst:uw-bv}} to warn the editor. Does this answer your question? Jauerbackdude?/dude. 04:20, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks :)

For the birthday wishes! Although since I'm in the Pacific time zone, it's not technically my birthday for another hour and a half. :p No worries Tromboneguy0186 (talk) 06:32, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Blue, my LA dodgers fan, you is a genius!

Blue! Long time no see! Ok, it's only been 6 days, but I justed wanted to thank you for the help on the Starrcade 97 article. That was very cool. But, instead of resting on laurels and past accomplishments, what do you say we create more articles, like starrcade 98, and 99. My ogal is to be huge on WCW article making, so, yeah. Expect this site to be LITTERED with WCW PPV articles. Oh, and are you going to get to see the Royal Rumlbe tonight? EWC Champion (talk) 08:01, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wouldn't it Be Cool..

If for the WrestleMania week edition of the newsletter, the member interviews were "The Kliq", and "The WP:PW Cabal". lol. =] iMatthew 13:28, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kliq

What's the Kliq? SexySeaShark 17:26, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Me?

Kinda. I'm probabily going to be doing the odd few edits once in a while here but I'm not going to be around Wikipedia as much as I used to be. -- Oakster  Talk  18:06, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I appreciate it. -- Oakster  Talk  22:24, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Damn John Cena!

I am so mad that fool won the rumble! WEll, anyways, is the Starrcade 98 article, a possibility? P.S. when is Big Show coming back? EWC Champion (talk) 02:10, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Um, yeah! Why wouldn't I work on 2 PPV's? EWC Champion (talk) 02:13, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh no. That page is the crown jewel of the Empire! I see you like NASCAR. Why Jr.? EWC Champion (talk) 02:19, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It used to be on your userpage. I like Brian Vickers. Sadly he didn't do too well last year. Sadly, my friend Carmen likes Jeff Gordon. She also likes the California Golden Bears, my least favorite team of all time. EWC Champion (talk) 02:29, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Who is Thinkblue going for now? EWC Champion (talk) 02:32, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am gping to hopefully buy at least 5 PPV's this year. You see, I have no life. I just argue with Carmen and get on Wikipedia all the time. Anyways, if you like NASCAR, you might wanna consider joining their project. I did today. And let me tell ya, I ain't ever going to cheer for the Oregon State Beavers again. Carmen goes on rampages whenever they win! EWC Champion (talk) 02:38, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I already got the Rumble. Alot of it depends on money. Without a doubt I'm getting Summerslam, and One Night Stand. I'll likely visit someone, for Wrestlemania. As for anything else, who knows? EWC Champion (talk) 02:43, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

2008 EWC Champion (talk) 03:07, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I was talking about watching not working. But come to think of it, how is the 2000 Royal Rumble article? EWC Champion (talk) 03:10, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm Confused

First of all, let me say I have never expanded a PPV article by myself. I would like to though, which is why I might expand a PPV by myself starting next week. I'd like to do No Way Out (2008), but I will be on Wikibreak from 2-17 to 2-24 (I'm going on a vacation with my family). Up until then, I'd be glad to work on anything "The Kliq" does. Can you please explain to me what you, LAX, and Truco we're discussing, to keep me informed. Thanks! =] iMatthew 12:11, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, I talked to LAX. iMatthew 22:41, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, (by myself)? iMatthew 02:15, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, That sounds good! I'm going to work on it in my Sandbox (To Be Created). If you'd like, you can check it out often and revise things, or correct and edit errors that you notice. I'll start tomorrow though. iMatthew 02:23, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thats no problem. I'm getting off for a little while, I should be back tonight though. Can you go to the WP:PW's PPV section, and add the two PPV's we're working expanding (You and LAX-Armageddon)(Me-Vengeance). iMatthew 03:06, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm actually getting off for the night. I'll be on early tomorrow morning, ready to go! iMatthew 03:06, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I think that our (The Kliq)'s goals today should be to finish up WrestleMania XX and SummerSlam (2002). iMatthew 14:12, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Has created another PPV article. Just thought I'd let ya know. D.M.N. (talk) 22:14, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter

Updates

Check out the newsletter ^ above. Truco and I fixed it up. Now it has a show/hide feature. LAX says we are putting Royal Rumble on hold for now. I am still working on Vengeance (but LAX requested to write the Orton/Edge fued which he is going to do). What do you think about getting SummerSlam finished tonight? (Unless you'll be glued to the SuperBowl, like many others are today). Also, do you like my updated userpage/signature? iMatthew 2008 20:51, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well I wanted to put a link to my contribs/guestbook in my signature. I didn't know where to put it though, so I just added the year (2008). Thanks, we worked hard on the newsletter. I'll also be multi-tasking, watching and editing. I'm actually rooting for both teams in a way. I'd like the Giants to win. I'm not too big of a football fan, but when I do watch it, I root for the Giants. I gotta stick to the New York team. My neighbors are throwing a SuperBowl party tonight. I'm going to be up all night with the noise from them. (It's a bunch of loud young adults.) lol. And what are your thoughts of my userpage? iMatthew 2008 21:03, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Idk about Truco, but I just thought his signature could be improved. It's not all that important. And thanks (about my userpage). I love it too. I'd award myself a barnstar for it (and the newsletter), but I'd look like a complete idiot. LOL. As for the SuperBowl, we'll see what happens! lol. iMatthew 2008 21:23, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Survivor Series? Do you mean SummerSlam? iMatthew 2008 21:40, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Feuds

Thanks, that's pretty all the info I could fine for both feuds. So, what's going to be our next PPV? Cheers, LAX 22:16, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Me and iMatthew were thinking about doing Over the Edge 1998 as a group project (all Kliq members), then we do Taboo Tuesday 2004, and then WrestleMania XIX.--TrUCo9311 22:45, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Blue, can you please go to WWE Roster's talk page and vote in the polls going on there. They close tomorrow. iMatthew 2008 23:45, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Also do you mind if Jjkr joined us in writing a PPV? He is new and my adoptee.TrUCo9311 00:26, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Go to the section "What can't we use this?". Then go down to the tables poll and citations poll. iMatthew 2008 00:43, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not. Idk if Truco is. But is D.M.N. working on projects with us? iMatthew 2008 00:47, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No, his adoptee isn't joining, he just might be working with us on a PPV. Truco wants him to get used to working with other users, and working on articles, which I understand. Truco also said that D.M.N. hasn't written anything of WMXX. So I left him a message asking him to do at least the aftermath. iMatthew 2008 00:55, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Also, you voted in the citations poll, but not the tables poll (above it) iMatthew 2008 00:56, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't discuss Zenlax joining. I don't think we should put anyone else in though. If Zenlax comes in, then JjKr will have to come in, then that would be 7 members. More users will want to join, and ta-da we will have our own Wikipedia Project. We can work on PPV's with members outside of The Kliq though. Even as "Special Guest" members for a project or something. iMatthew 2008 01:05, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, cool. But he's not officially joining, yet. Just so he can learn how to write PPV's. GO PATRIOTS, WERE WINNING RIGHT NOW!, also Zenlax can join. But I think D.M.N and JjKr can be honorary members.--TrUCo9311 01:09, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please go to the discussion page for "The Kliq". Please voice your opinion in the two open discussions. iMatthew 2008 01:15, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If Zenlax joins, I think that we should have D.M.N. and possibly JjKr as "Occasional Members" or "Sub-Members" iMatthew 2008 01:20, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yup, I'm ready whenever you are. ;) Cheers, LAX 01:26, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. Vengeance is going pretty smoothly. I didn't have to change to edit it much today, but I will pick it up tomorrow after school. iMatthew 2008 01:27, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I guess, DMN can remain as an occasional member.TrUCo9311 01:29, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Who is working on RR97? Just you and LAX? iMatthew 2008 01:31, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I say let's start working on it now. I'll work on the aftermath for Armageddon throughout the week. Cheers, LAX 01:33, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, have fun! Also, is SummerSlam 2002 done? iMatthew 2008 01:35, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, i didnt invite him. LAX just came up w/ the idea.--TrUCo9311 01:36, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I at least want to work on the HBK/Sid feud, unless you really want to. Cheers, LAX 01:41, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I wasn't planning on it. Can you do me a favor. Before starting so many new projects, can you write the aftermath for SS tonight, so it will be completed? iMatthew 2008 01:45, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Not if you want it, I'll let you have it. Say, what other feuds were there? I guess I will, since it was my idea for him to join. Cheers, LAX 01:47, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think LAX invited him.--TrUCo9311 01:49, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, please help me come up with an invite. So, were the other feuds for the Royal Rumble HHH/Goldust, Vadar/Taker, and the RR match? Cheers, LAX 01:53, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
'kay, I'll work on those. IDK, just a basic card, like an RfA thanks or a holiday card, and we could work on it in either one of our sandboxes. Cheers, LAX 01:59, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, let's work on it here. Cheers, LAX 02:06, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
10-7, Giants in the lead. >_< Cheers, LAX 02:13, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Users make them themselves (probably in their sandbox), and when they send it out, they probably substitute them. And when they're done, they, most likely, delete them. I'll try to find a good one. Cheers, LAX 02:19, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Pretty good, we can just build off that. Cheers, LAX 02:25, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Let's. Cheers, LAX 02:37, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That's a good template to use. (my name is in it?) iMatthew 2008 02:39, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
WP:PW gold. BTW, 17-14. Cheers, LAX 02:57, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, Giants just won. I couldn't do it. Do you think you or someone else could? Cheers, LAX 03:08, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Giants win! iMatthew 2008 03:09, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ha, but you have to give them credit. And if you make the invitation tonight, I'd be more than happy to send it to him tomorrow morning. I have to get off for the night now, so I can do it tomorrow morning, or when I get back from school. iMatthew 2008 03:15, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, that would probably be a better idea. Well, I'm off for tonight. Talk to ya later. Cheers, LAX 03:17, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I'll do it before school tomorrow morning. Cya! iMatthew 2008 03:18, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Projects

Hey, ThinkBlue, just wanted to thank you for inviting me to join your editing group and you'd be happy to know that I've added myself to two projects. Also, this came to mind, the 2005 Taboo Tuesday article has been created by a User:Cimmo and I just wanted to let you know first hand that the user most likely took the article, but if not then I'll be more than happy to expand the article. Zenlax T C S 20:01, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Blue, do you mind in helping me complete the event section for WrestleMania 21? Zenlax T C S 20:59, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No pressure. Zenlax T C S 20:29, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Taboo

Are you going to work on the background for the Royal Rumble too? Cheers, LAX 23:08, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, sorry about that. Yes, please, I would like to work on the other feuds. Cheers, LAX 23:14, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yup, no problem. Cheers, LAX 23:27, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
What's the problem? Cheers, LAX 23:58, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The main problem I see is the sources. I don't get how GCF was able to write all those old ones and get them to GA status. Cheers, LAX 00:02, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Jeez, all the way back to 1995. Cheers, LAX 00:04, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Defiantly. Cheers, LAX 00:08, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think either one of us could ask him, unless you wanna ask him together. Cheers, LAX 10:48, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
How would we ask him together? Cheers, LAX 10:00, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That's great, and that's probably a Good idea. Right now, I've got alot of stuff on my hands (see my userpage). Cheers, LAX 00:32, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That's my problem. I'm currently trying to complete the biggest one, SummerSlam. Once I'm done with that, I'll probably go on to the next biggest one, No Way Out. Cheers, LAX 00:38, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
All I need you to do is rewrite the divas battle royal. I'm working on rewriting all the other matches myself. BTW, can you please read the background section and tell me what you think? Thanks. ;) Cheers, LAX 00:43, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. ;) Cheers, LAX 00:51, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Right. Cheers, LAX 00:56, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Absolutely. A calendar would work! iMatthew 2008 01:14, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
What do you mean by that? iMatthew 2008 01:18, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, maybe I can get it done tomorrow, or at least started. iMatthew 2008 01:24, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think I've got the battle royal done. Please look at my sandbox to see. Cheers, LAX 01:34, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No thanks, I'm doin' fine right now. Cheers, LAX 01:37, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Will do. Cheers, LAX 01:43, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I dont, see why not. We really got to finish these projects. TrUCo9311 01:44, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
We should finish WrestleMania XX, Royal Rumble 08 and SummerSlam 02.--TrUCo9311 01:51, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I think its a bit rediculous that we are all working on 1245235632 projects each. We should really stop adding new ones to the list. iMatthew 2008 02:00, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Just try finding what happened with the feuds after SS, whether they continued or not. or whether they started other feuds.TrUCo9311 02:01, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think we should put our current projects on pause. Between everyone in The Kliq, even if its not your project, we should get three projects done by new Monday. iMatthew 2008 02:05, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sure why not. --TrUCo9311 02:09, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, im not working on anything, but alot of you are. So I guess so...As i will help you all finish your projects... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Truco9311 (talkcontribs)
I'd say first, we need to complete WMXX and SummerSlam 2002 iMatthew 2008 02:15, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Aftermath. iMatthew 2008 02:20, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Seems like it iMatthew 2008 02:23, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
So what should I include in the calendar? What should it look like? iMatthew 2008 20:13, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Eighth member

Cross-posted to other Kliq members

I know this sounds ridiculous (having an eighth member), but would you mind if bulletproof 3:16 were to join the Kliq? He's an experienced member of WP:PW who would definitely help us with our expansion of pay-per-views. Cheers, LAX 10:11, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

To be honest, I stopped watching wrestling just before this pay-per-view. Fortunately, the big feuds from this show had lengthy buildups, so I remember the Michaels-Sid feud, the Johnson-Faarooq feud, and most of the Vader-Undertaker feud. I'd have to think a bit about the Goldust-Helmsley match, as I don't remember a feud there. If you'd like, I would be willing to help write the background section. It might take a few days, but I'll do my best. Thanks for getting in touch, and please ask anytime you'd like some help. GaryColemanFan (talk) 00:01, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

One site that I find very helpful for writing backgroud sections is The Other Arena. The History of WWE is also a good site, but I try to use TOA when I can because The History of WWE is hosted by Angelfire. It's a great site, but some people will look down on it because it's an Angelfire page. GaryColemanFan (talk) 00:05, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not actively working on any articles right now. I've got SummerSlam (1994) up for a Good Article nomination and then I'll work on taking WrestleMania X out-of-universe and nominate it for GA. My Wikipedia time is sporadic and unpredictable right now, so I'm taking a break before I think about tackling one of the old Survivor Series articles (1993 or 1994). My big project is working on stub articles right now, trying to get as many of them up to Start-class as possible. I'd love to help with Royal Rumble 1997, though, so I'll work on it when I can in the next few days. GaryColemanFan (talk) 00:15, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
