So far the song has also spent 76 weeks on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and has currently peaked at #5. It reached the Top 10 of the chart in its 42nd week, the longest climb to the top tier in the survey's 67-year history.[2] It also was the #1 for Hot Gospel Songs and Hot Dance Club Play charts. On May 20, 2009, "God in Me" broke the record for the longest-running hit for gospel female radio artist along with Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together" before being knocked off by Keyshia Cole's "Love" in 2006.
