Fonzworth Bentley
Fonzworth Bentley (born February 12, 1974 in Atlanta , Georgia ; real name: Derek Watkins ) is an American hip-hop artist and fashion designer . Watkins became known as the personal assistant to Sean Combs . In 2008, he gained more international recognition as host of the MTV telecast From G's to Gents .
Musical career
Bentley has made guest appearances in a variety of music videos, including Yeah by Usher , DIDDY by Sean Combs and The Way You Move by OutKast . In 2006 he was signed to Kanye West's record company GOOD Music . In the same year, a first studio album COLORS was originally supposed to be released. However, the publication has been postponed indefinitely. In 2008 Watkins played the violin in the will.i.am- produced song Yes We Can for Barack Obama's speech .
