Yeah, the "south" indicator wasn't necessary; you were right. I don't know why you omitted "north end of blah blah blah" because that is the northern end of the overlap, right? And we don't list the times a route turns onto another road in a junction list, unless I'm misunderstanding what you're saying. The PDF shows that it was created in 1931; the transcription of the 1931 law can be seen at Wikipedia:WikiProject Utah State Highways/Early state roads: "(101) From Logan southerly via Hyrum to Wellsville."
