Kathryn Janis Grody (born November 6, 1946) is an American actress and writer.

Biography

She studied acting at HB Studio[1] in New York City. After winning two Obies for her Off-Broadway work, she wrote an autobiographical play called A Mom's Life.[2]

Grody was born Los Angeles, California. She has been married to actor and singer Mandy Patinkin since 1980 and they have two children, Isaac and Gideon.[3] Grody is actor Noah Wyle's godmother.[4]

In 2013, Grody appeared as Lola in the Primary Stages production of The Model Apartment.
