Tani Masayuki (谷正之) (2 September 1889 - 16 October 1962) was foreign minister of Japan from 1942 to 1943.
Career
Masayuki was a diplomat before assuming ministerial roles.[1] He served as foreign vice minister in the cabinet of Mitsumasa Yonai.[2] Then he served as foreign minister in the cabinet of Hideki Tōjō from 1942 to 1943. On 21 April 1943, Masayuki was replaced by Mamoru Shigemitsu.[3]
Later, he was involved in US-Japan relations in the postwar era.
