Dejan Tomašević (born 6 May, 1973 in Belgrade, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Serbian professional basketball player who is currently playing for Panathinaikos BC from Greece.
He is 2.08m tall. His previous teams are: Er.Asteras, Borac Čačak, KK Red Star, KK Partizan, KK Budućnost Podgorica, Tau Ceramica, Valencia BC.

He started his great career with Borac Cacak and made his first transfer in 1991 to KK Red Star where he stayed for 4 years, winning 2 championship titles. Next were KK Partizan (1995-99) – 2 championships and one cup title, KK Budućnost (1999-2001) with 2 more championships and one cup trophy. The big transfer abroad was realized with Tau Ceramica where he played in 2001-2002, wining the Spanish Cup (2002). He was transferred to Panathinaikos BC from Valencia BC, where he won the ULEB Cup in 2003!

Tomacevic is a first team member of The Serbian National Basketball Team, having won 2 first places in Eurobasket (1995, 1997), and a third place at Eurobasket 1999 with Yugoslavia, plus 2 first places in The FIBA World Championship at the 1998 FIBA World Championship and the 2002 FIBA World Championship with Yugoslavia. He also has a third place in The 1996 Olympic Games! He was voted the Euroleague MVP for 2000-01 and MVP of the NLB League Serbian Championship in 1998, as well as the MVP of the 2003 ULEB Cup. With Panathinaikos BC he has won 2 Greek League championships (2006, 2007), 2 Cups (2006, 2007) and the Euroleague in 2007.
