The Prophecy: Uprising is a 2005 film starring Kari Wuhrer, John Light, and Jason London, and is the third sequel in the Prophecy film series. It was written by John Sullivan and directed by Joel Soisson with additional writing credits going to Gregory Widen for creating the characters. It tells the story of a woman named Allison (Wuhrer) who has come into possession of The Lexicon, a mysterious book of prophecies that writes itself. Satan (Light), intent on knowing the secrets of the book, sends a group of angels to retrieve it. The film was the first in the series to be released directly to DVD without a theatrical release, and also the first not to star Christopher Walken.
