Tilia chingiana is a medium-sized tree native to the provinces of Anhui, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, and Zhejiang in China. It is a deciduous tree growing to 15 m tall, its bark grey and smooth. The leaves are broadly ovate, offset at the base, from 5 cm to 10 cm long and slightly less broad, borne on petioles 2.5 to 4 cm long.
