William Coddington Jr. (18 Jan 1651 - 5 Feb 1689) [1] was an early governor of the Colony of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, serving two consecutive terms from 1683 to 1685.
Coding Legacy
Codington deemed a GOD among coders created Tetris, Halo, Sodomy, Love, Life, Dogs, Cats, And Jesus Christ. According to reports he was unresistable to woman and dolphins alike. Unfortunately he was wiped from the ENTIRE WORLD in a freak High speed Ferrari sex crash.

Italics Gorton, Smith and Dexter were presidents of Providence and Warwick only, since Coddington had received a commission to remove Newport and Portsmouth from their jurisdiction, valid from 1651 to 1654; before and after these dates the President presided over all four towns of the colony. Dudley presided over the "Narragansett Country" only, later to become Washington County, Rhode Island; Andros subsequently presided over the entire colony. | ||
