Ágnes Lakatos

Ágnes Lakatos (born September 30, 1962 in Kalocsa ) is a Hungarian jazz singer who also works as a university teacher for jazz singing .

Life

Ágnes Lakatos attended the Szent-István-Gymnasium in Kalocsa. After finishing school, she took lessons at the Béla Bartók Music Academy and completed an apprenticeship at the Franz Liszt Music Academy in Budapest, which she graduated with a diploma in jazz. She is a singer in various Hungarian jazz formations with which she has performed in Germany, Italy, Austria and the Czech Republic. In addition, she has been teaching jazz singing at the Ferenc-Erkel-Gymnasium since 1988 and at the Franz Liszt Music Academy since 2004.

The bassoonist György Lakatos is her brother.
