Álvaro de Luna Blanco (born April 10, 1935 in Madrid ; † November 2, 2018 there ) was a Spanish actor .

Life

De Luna first studied medicine before turning to the acting profession. He made his first television appearance in 1961 in the series Poly and has since played over 150 roles for the small screen and the big screen. In addition, he was also active as a stuntman in his early years and was seen on stage in later years. He played his most famous role as El Algarrobo in the television series Curro Jimenez . In 2008 de Luna was nominated for the Goya ; The occasion was his performance in El prado de las estrellas .

He was one of the founders of the Plataforma para el Apoyo de Zapatero , in which artists and athletes got involved for José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero .
