Ángel León Gozalo (born October 2, 1907 in Villalón de Campos , † August 10, 1979 in Madrid ) was a Spanish sports shooter .
successes
Ángel León took part in three Olympic Games in the free pistol discipline . In 1948 he finished sixth in London with 534 points. Four years later he scored 550 points in Helsinki , completing the competition in second place behind Huelet Benner and winning the silver medal. He finished the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome in 18th place. León won bronze at World Championships in Buenos Aires in 1949 .
León was at times a shooting coach with the Spanish police. He had three daughters.
