Etna (spelling: ÄTNA) is a German electronica / independent duo from Dresden .
Inéz Schaefer and Demian Kappenstein met at the Dresden University of Music .
The first EP Etna was released in 2017, the second EP La Famiglia - An Audiovisual Suite in 2018. Both EPs were recorded together with the producer Moses Schneider . This was followed by appearances in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Russia, as well as festivals in Germany and abroad. The duo was present in the media at the NDR Kultur -Neo-Session and the Radio Eins -Radio-Show.
On February 14, 2020, the debut album Made By Desire was released on Humming Records.
