Émile Michelet, who sailed for the Cercle de la Voile de Paris , took part in the 1900 Olympic Games in Paris , where he competed in five competitions. In the joint race, he took third place as the skipper of the Turquoise . With the Scamasaxe , whose crew was Marcel Meran , he took third place in the first race and second in the second race in the 0.5 to 1 tonne boat class . Furthermore, Michelet sailed in the boat class 3 to 10 tons with the Turquoise and finished the first race in fourth place. In the second race he was disqualified.
