Éric Alauzet (born June 7, 1958 in Nancy ) is a French politician . He has been a member of the National Assembly since 2012 .

Alauzet worked as a doctor after studying medicine. In 2008 he moved to the General Council of the Doubs department , and was then elected vice-president. To do this, he became a member of the Besançon City Council . In the parliamentary elections in 2012 he ran for the green party EELV in the second constituency of the Doubs department . He had to assert himself in the second ballot on June 17 against the previous MP Jacques Grosperrin ( UMP ). Alauzet received 50.1% of the vote, which was a lead of 108 votes. Grosperrin complained against it to the Conseil constitutionnel . In November 2012, Alauzet declared 19 votes to be invalid, which meant that Alauzet was still 89 votes ahead and was accordingly allowed to keep his mandate. In the parliamentary elections in 2017 he was able to defend his position. In the newly elected National Assembly, Alauzet sits in the parliamentary group of President Emmanuel Macron's La République en Marche party .
