Étant donnés (artist duo)

Étant donnés was founded in 1980. The artist duo consists of the Rabat- born brothers Marc Hurtado (* 1962) and Eric Hurtado (* 1959). You mainly work as a performance artist .

Étant donnés has worked with Alan Vega , Lydia Lunch , Genesis P-Orridge , Michael Gira , Marc Cunningham and Christophe , Mama Baer and Commissioner Hjuler , Antye Greie-Ripatti , among others .

The name of the duo refers to the spatial object Étant donnés by Marcel Duchamp .
