Bernd Eisenstein

Bernd Eisenstein (born August 20, 1965 in Kusel ) is a German geographer, university professor, author, reviewer and consultant. He is Professor of International Tourism Management at the West Coast University of Applied Sciences in Heide .

Live and act

The studied geographer and business economist has been director of the Institute for Management and Tourism (IMT) at the West Coast University of Applied Sciences since 2006. He received his doctorate in 1995 from the University of Trier on the economic effects of tourism . He has been Professor of International Tourism Management since 1997 and Vice-Director of the China Outbound Tourism Research Institute (COTRI) since 2008. From 2009 to 2011 he was dean of the economics department at the West Coast University of Applied Sciences and a member of AIEST (International Association of Scientific Experts in Tourism). Bernd Eisenstein is also a member of the German Society for Tourism Science (DGT). Bernd Eisenstein teaches at the West Coast University of Applied Sciences in the areas of destination management , tourism demand and strategic tourism management.
