Éva Ferenczi

Eva Ferenczi (* around 1962) is a former Romanian table tennis player . She took part in several world championships .

Career

Eva Ferenczi won the singles title at the European Youth Championships in 1978, and in mixed she reached the final with Georg Böhm . She was Romanian adult champion eight times, namely in 1978 and 1981 in singles, doubles in 1979, 1980 (with Liana Mihuț ) and 1981 (with Olga Nemes ) as well as in mixed 1976, 1977 (with Cristinel Romanescu) and 1980 (with Simion Crisan) . In 1979 and 1981 she was nominated for participation in the world championships. She reached her best position in the world rankings in 1981 with place 25.

In 1982 Eva Ferenczi took part in an international tournament in Como, Italy. At that time she did not return to Romania, but emigrated to Italy. Here she first played in Bari, since 1983 she was active in several German Bundesliga clubs:
