Hugo zu Erbach-Fürstenau

Wolfgang Ernst Hugo Graf zu Erbach-Fürstenau (born September 15, 1832 at Fürstenau Castle (Michelstadt) ; † February 21, 1894 there ) was a German titular count , officer and Hessian politician . He was a member of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

He was the son of Count Albrecht zu Erbach-Fürstenau (1787-1851) and his wife Luise Sophie Emilie Princess zu Hohenlohe-Neuenstein-Ingelfingen (1788-1859), the daughter of Prince Friedrich Ludwig von Hohenlohe-Ingelfingen and Countess Amalie von Hoym. Erbach-Fürstenau, who was a Protestant denomination, married on August 8, 1839 in Schönberg Marie Countess to Erbach-Schönberg (1839–1927), the daughter of Lud (e) wig Graf zu Schönberg and Caroline Countess zu Gronsfeld-Diepenbroik.

Life

Erbach-Fürstenau embarked on a military career and served in Austrian military service, most recently as a major. From 1882 to 1887 he was an authorized representative for his nephew Adalbert Graf zu Erbach-Fürstenau, a member of the First Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse . On April 12, 1882, he took the deputy oath. He is buried in Michelstadt.
