The Îles de la Petite Terre are an uninhabited archipelago of two islands in the French overseas department of Guadeloupe .

geography

The islands belong to the Lesser Antilles and are located in the Caribbean Sea nine kilometers southeast of the eastern tip of the Pointe des Châteaux on the main island of Guadeloupe , and 12 kilometers south of the western tip of the Pointe des Colibris of the island of La Désirade . They belong to the municipality of La Désirade.

The two islands of the Îles de la Petite Terre have a total area of ​​1.48 km². 1.17 km² of this is on the main island of Terre de Bas and 31  hectares on Terre de Haut . Terre de Haut is just 170 meters northeast of Terre de Bas.
