The Pointe des Châteaux marks the easternmost point of the island of Grande-Terre in the French overseas department of Guadeloupe . It is located in the commune of Saint-François . At the Pointe des Châteaux there is calcareous soil on which u. a. white and black rosemary and sea grapes that defy the wind and salt water grow. A summit cross was erected on the summit of the Pointe des Châteaux.
