Óscar Domínguez (born March 26, 1985 in Van Nuys , California ) is an American pool player .

Career

Due to good placements in smaller tournaments, he was now number 1 in the US rankings. At the WPA 10-Ball World Championship in 2009 , he then reached the final round, but lost to Dennis Orcollo .

With Team USA he won the prestigious Mosconi Cup 2009 against Team Europe 11: 7 when he was nominated for the first time , even if he lost his two individual matches. At the WPA Pool World Championships 2010 in Hanover, he was again part of the US team, which narrowly lost to the team from Greece in the second round .

His father, Ernesto Domínguez, is also an internationally successful pool player.
