Neustadt am Rübenberge district court

The Neustadt am Rübenberge district court is one of six district courts in the district of the Hanover regional court . It is based in Neustadt am Rübenberge in Lower Saxony .

Responsibilities

The Neustadt District Court is responsible for the cities of Neustadt am Rübenberge , Garbsen and Wunstorf and thus for around 151,000 people. The Hanover Regional Court is superordinate to it. The competent higher regional court is the higher regional court of Celle .

history

With the Hanoverian Courts Constitution Act of November 8, 1850, which came into force on October 1, 1850, the district court was established in Neustadt and subordinated to the Hanover Higher Court . Initially, the district court district had around 11,700 court residents . With the dissolution of the local courts in Ricklingen Castle (1855), Wunstorf and Wölpe (both 1859), the jurisdiction of the Neustadt local court increased. In 1977 the district court became a family court .

building

The court was initially housed in Landestrost Castle. Due to space problems, additional rooms were rented in 1884, and in 1903 the current building was erected on Schlossstrasse . The old building was expanded in 1967 to include an extension on Ludwig-Enneccerus- Platz , which today houses the main building. The two outbuildings are located in Schlossstrasse and Landestrost Castle in the immediate vicinity of the main building.
