Player career

The beginnings

Óscar Sánchez started his career as a footballer with the amateur club CD Amorós. In 1999 he moved to the B team of Atlético Madrid , which at that time was playing in the Segunda División . There he achieved relegation in the first year with his new team, but still had to go to the 3rd division because the A-team of the Madrilenians were relegated from Spain's elite league. For the 2001/2002 season Óscar Sánchez moved to the second division CD Badajoz . There, too, he was part of the permanent staff with over 30 assignments.

Valladolid

After his move to Valladolid, he was able to achieve relegation with his team before relegation was due in the 2003/2004 season. After three years in the Segunda División , he was promoted in the 2006/2007 season and thus returned to the Primera División with Óscar Sánchez, who had meanwhile lost his regular place. In the 2008/09 season he came mostly as a substitute for the course.

Real Murcia

In the summer of 2009, Sánchez left and moved to Real Murcia in the Segunda División. While he initially had a permanent place in the team, he was no longer used in the second half of the 2009/10 season . At the end of the season he was relegated with his team. After the immediate resurgence, he played another three years with Murcia in the Segunda División. He was seriously injured in November 2013 and was no longer used. He ended his career in the summer of 2014.
