Ömer Çetin (born September 6, 1990 in Marburg ) is a Turkish ice hockey goalkeeper who was last under contract with the EHC Munich in the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga until 2010 .

Career

Çetin began his career in the youth team of the EHC Munich, where he went through all the youth teams and was most recently active for the junior team in the district league. In the 2008/09 season he was in 20 league games in the goal of the juniors and conceded 2.42 goals per game. At the beginning of the 2009/10 season he was appointed third goalkeeper of the professional team in the 2nd Bundesliga by those responsible at EHC Munich . On October 23, 2009 he made his professional debut at the home game of the EHC Munich against the Wölfe Freiburg when he was substituted on at the last minute.

International

For Turkey , Çetin took part in the U20 World Junior Championship Division III 2010 . In the course of the tournament he remained without use.
