Austrian Conference for Vocational Education Research
The Austrian Conference for Vocational Training Research is a biennial scientific conference that focuses on professional exchange in Austrian vocational training and adult education research.
Agendas
The aim is networking, scientific exchange and the further development of quality in research. As part of the conference, the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Art and Culture will also award the Austrian Vocational Training Research Prize as a prize for young talent.
organization
The Austrian Society for Research and Development in Education (ÖFEB, Vocational and Adult Education Section ) acts as the organizer . The events are organized by the Federal Ministry for Education, Art and Culture and, since 2013, for Education and Women (BMUKK, BMBF), the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Berufsbildungsforschung Austria (abf-Austria), the Austrian Employment Service (AMS, on the part of the AMS research network) and the Chamber of Labor Upper Austria supported financially and organizationally. The Steyr Working World Museum acts as the venue, but the premises of the Upper Austria University of Applied Sciences are also used. The conference office of the ÖFEB section is set up at Head GmbH / arqa-vet (Austrian reference point for quality in vocational training).
