The Austrian agricultural publishing printing and publishing mbH Nfg. KG , shortly Austrian agricultural publishing is one of the oldest magazine and book publishers in Austria (founded 1928). It is based in Vienna and is the publisher of 32 periodical specialist and consumer magazines , which currently reach 2.2 million readers. The topics range from: agriculture, forestry and timber industry, horses, hunting, food & drink, enjoyment, gardening, leisure & tourism, health & medicine, banking and money management as well as property & security.

Magazines

Austrian farmer's newspaper and other specialist agricultural magazines

Österreichische Agrarverlag is co-publisher of the weekly newspaper “Österreichische Bauernzeitung”, the weekly newspaper with the highest circulation in rural areas.

Other specialist agricultural magazines are: “ Der Winzer ”, “Besseres Obst”, “GÄRTNER & FLORIST”, “Der Pflanzenarzt”, and “Seed”. The magazines “ Holzkurier ”, “ HolzDesign ”, “Der Waldbauer”, “Holzbau Austria” and “ Forstzeitung ” are published for the forest and wood industry . With “Timber Online”, a specialist timber portal is operated in German and English.

St. Hubertus

"St. Hubertus (magazine) | St. Hubertus", the oldest independent hunting magazine in Austria and "pferderevue", the most renowned Austrian horse magazine, is also published by the Austrian Agricultural Publishing House.

GARDEN + HOUSE

The magazine "GARTEN + HAUS" is published together with the Austrian Horticultural Society . It is Austria's largest gardening magazine and the market leader among gardening magazines. It is a valuable advisor to hobby gardeners and people who are interested in plants, health and living.

TO TRAVEL

"REISEN" is the Austrian magazine for trips and vacations. It is aimed at everyone who wants to diversify their free time. In addition to popular hiking destinations, numerous holiday and excursion regions are described in beautiful photos. Another part of the booklet relates to countries from Europe and overseas and gives the reader an insight into other continents and cultures.

ENJOYMENT.MAGAZINE

In the spring of 2005, the first issue of "GENUSS.MAGAZIN" appeared, a magazine that is primarily devoted to culinary topics. "GENUSS.wein.pur" (since 2006), "GENUSS.bier.pur" (since 2007) and GENUSS.fleisch.pur (since 2009) appear as line extensions. In November 2017, the magazine underwent a complete relaunch and became an origin magazine with a focus on products, production, origin and regionality.

In the book sector, Österreichische Agrarverlag has been a specialist publisher for agriculture and forestry, viticulture and cellar technology as well as horticulture for decades. In the past, the focus of the program was almost exclusively on specialist books for farmers and school books for agricultural technical and vocational schools, but over the past 12 years this core area has continuously expanded to include topics such as gardening and horticulture (for hobby and professional gardeners), viticulture, cooking and culinary arts with a focus on health , Country kitchen, country life, horses and recreational riding, dogs and pets.
