The Austrian Roller Sports & Inline Skate Association (ÖRSV) is the professional association of all Austrian roller sports clubs. The ÖRSV is run by honorary functionaries and has its seat in Wörgl .

The ÖRSV was founded in 1937 and currently consists of 109 associations and a total of 3,500 members. It combines the five branches of inline speed skating, inline skater hockey, downhill inline slalom, figure skating and roller hockey . The aim of the ÖRSV is to promote popular and competitive sports. The focus here is on the training of racers and competitors.

Inline speed skating

Speed skating is an inline skating discipline in which international and national competitions take place regularly. It is divided into track races, road races, indoor races and skill competitions.

The Fédération Internationale de Roller Sports is committed to including speed skating in the Olympic Games. It is currently a sport of the World Games .

The ÖRSV has organized the Austrian Inline Cup (AIC) in Austria since 1993. It consists of several individual events, each over 21 km or 42 km.

Inline skater hockey

Austrian inline skater hockey was included in the ÖRSV as a separate division in 1995. It has been represented in the International Inline Skater Federation (IISHF) since 2005 and has been a full member of various IISHF championships such as European championships in various age groups since 2006.

In 2008 the ÖRSV founded Inline-Skaterhockey Austria (ISHA). It has set itself the goal of professionalizing the sport in top and popular sport.

Inline alpine

Inline alpine is a discipline of inline skating. There is a special kids' cup for children aged six and over, with skill competitions held in various stations. The children can get a feel for balance, braking and quick changes of direction in a playful way.

Roller hockey

Roller hockey is a ball sport that is traditionally played with classic roller skates. These roller skates are operated by 2 × 2 rollers arranged in parallel. The teams consist of a goalkeeper and four field players and are equipped with a hockey stick. The aim of this sport is to get a small ball filled with cork into the opponent's goal. The team that scores the most goals is the winner. The playing time is 2 × 25 minutes and takes place with timekeeping. Roller hockey must also be distinguished from inline skater hockey and inline hockey.

Roller skating

The roller skaters showcase in competitions and show events individually, as a couple or in large formations their body control or before their control of roller skates and perform various running elements as musical choreography or athletic jumps.
