Laura Knott

Laura Knott (* 1955 ) is an American performance artist , dancer and curator .

life and work

Laura Knott graduated from Duke University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and worked for several years at the MIT Museum. In 2013 she organized the exhibition “5000 Moving Parts” there. 1987 Sky Chasm and Aqua Echo are two performances that Laura Knott realized in 1987 in collaboration with Shawn Brixey at documenta 8 in Kassel.

Laura Knott founded "Cultureburg".
