The Austrian Sailing Association ( OeSV ) represents the interests of Austrian sailors .

The association supports the organizers of regattas , championships, training courses, carries out examinations for sailing licenses and issues yacht certificates.

The Austrian Sailing Association represents Austria in the world umbrella organization for sailing, World Sailing , and is a member of the National Austrian Olympic Committee.

It was founded in 1946 by a proponent committee led by Viktor Fous. The OeSV is based in Neusiedl am See .

To support sailing in Austria, the association operates the Federal Center for Sailing and Surfing in Neusiedl am See, founded in 2002 with the aim of offering top athletes and young talents optimal training opportunities.
