Özgür İleri (born November 17, 1987 in Izmir ) is a Turkish football player.

Career

Özgür İleri started playing football in the youth of Metaspor and then moved to the youth of Çanakkale Dardanelspor in 2003 . In 2006 he signed a professional contract with his club and became part of the professional team. In his first season he made a total of 15 league appearances for the professional team. He made his breakthrough as a regular player in his second season. With his team he was promoted to de 1. Lig (second highest league in Turkey) in the 2008/09 season . Here the team did not manage to stay in the league, so after one season they played again in the second league . Even in the 2nd Lig you could not keep the class.

As a result of relegation by two leagues, Çanakkale Dardanelspor could not hold many players. Özgür İleri moved together with his teammates Ferhat Kaplan and Sakıb Aytaç to the Turkish first division club Gençlerbirliği . Unlike the two players who were also substituted, İleri was also able to assert himself here and was regularly used by coach Fuat Çapa .

For the 2015/16 season he moved to the second division team Göztepe Izmir . A season later he moved on to league rivals Boluspor . At this club he played for the next two years and was then committed by third division Bodrum Belediyesi Bodrumspor .
