The Özlüce Dam ( Turkish Özlüce Barajı ) is a dam in Eastern Turkey on the Peri Çayı in the Euphrates catchment area .
The dam is located in the provinces of Bingöl and Elazığ . It was completed in 1985/1992 - 1999/2000. The barrier structure, a stone embankment dam with a clay core , is 124 m high (above the valley floor). The hydropower plant has two 100 MW turbines. According to other sources, the total installed capacity is 170 MW. The standard work capacity is 413 GWh per year. The electricity produced is distributed via the Erzurum electricity distribution network. The name of the dam goes back to the village of Özlüce ( Kurdish Mugbet ).
