The Peri Çayı (also Peri Suyu or Piri Suyu ) is a river in Eastern Anatolia in the catchment area of the Euphrates .

The Peri Çayı rises 10 km east of Çat in the southwest of the Erzurum province on the northern flank of the Paşapınar Dağı . It flows past the villages of Dalsöğüt , Geçitli , Dörtyol and Suçatı in a southerly direction into the province of Bingöl . There he turns to the west. He passes the county town of Yedisu . The Peri Çayı curves to the south and later to the southwest. The district town of Kiğı is located west of the river. The river is now dammed in several places by dams. In the direction of flow these are: the Kiğı dam , the Özlüce dam , the Seyrantepe dam and the Tatar dam . In the lower reaches of the Peri Çayı forms the border between the provinces Elazığ and Bingöl, and further downstream between Elazığ and Tunceli . Eventually the river reaches the reservoir of the Keban Dam . The length of the Peri Çayı is given as 230 km.
