The Øverlandnosa ( Norwegian ) is a predominantly snow-covered hill in the Heimefrontfjella of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is the northernmost elevation of Sivorgfjella .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1985. It is named after the Norwegian poet Arnulf Øverland (1889–1968), who was arrested in 1942 for encouraging the resistance movement against the German occupation of Norway during World War II .
