The Übelsee (also Großer Übelsee ; Italian Lago Malo ) is a 2313 m high mountain lake near the Kleiner Kreuzspitze in South Tyrol . It is located in the ridge of the Stubai Alps , which separates Passeier from the Ratschingstal , on the municipality of St. Leonhard in Passeier . It is a protected natural monument . The Kleine Übelsee and Scheibelsee lakes are in the immediate eastern neighborhood .
