The Ratschingstal ( Italian Val di Racines ), also called Ratschinger Tal or simply Ratschings , is a mountain valley in the Stubai Alps . It is entirely located in the municipality of Ratschings in South Tyrol ( Italy ).

The Ratschingstal, drained by the Ratschingser Bach , branches off near the Gilfenklamm and the village of Stange from the Ridnauntal in a south-westerly direction. It is surrounded by the Ridnaun Valley in the north, Passeier in the west and south and the parallel Jaufental in the south-east, which is only separated by a wooded ridge. The various Weiler in the lower valley portion form the community fraction Except Ratschings , the higher the fraction settlements Innerratschings . The Ratschings-Jaufen ski area begins at the main town of the valley, Bichl, and runs up to the Jaufenpass , a transition into the Waltental and Passeier.

The inner valley sections are dominated by high mountain peaks that reach a height of 2818  m on the Ratschinger Weißen .
