The Gilfenklamm ( Italian Gola di Stanghe ) is a gorge in the area of ​​the municipality of Ratschings in South Tyrol . Here the Ratschinger Bach breaks through a layer of white marble at the exit of the Ratschingstal before it reaches the Ridnaun Valley and finally flows into the Ridnauner Bach . A path leads through the gorge and overcomes a height difference of 175 meters. The path was opened in 1896 and repaired in 1961. The Gilfenklamm is a protected natural monument .

The Reifenegg castle ruins are 300 meters (as the crow flies) south of the gorge exit .
