Ümit Ertural

Ümit Ertural (born October 22, 1984 in Oberhausen ) is a German-Turkish soccer player .

Career

The 1.80 m tall striker began playing football at the Turnerbund Oberhausen . Two years followed in the youth of Rot-Weiß Oberhausen and MSV Duisburg before he returned to the gymnastics association as an A-youth. There Ertural made the leap into the first team and played in the district league. The North Rhine-Oberligist SV Adler Osterfeld became aware of the 18-year-old and signed him for the 2003/04 season , in which he came to 32 games and scored two goals. In the summer of 2004, Ertural followed an offer from Rot-Weiß Oberhausen and was part of the squad of the second division team in the 2004/05 season. In the 1-0 against Karlsruher SC and in the 2-0 against SpVgg Unterhaching , he made two appearances in the 2nd Bundesliga . With RWO, however, he was relegated to the Regionalliga Nord at the end of the season . The new season started badly for the young attacker: Right at the beginning of the season he suffered a cruciate ligament rupture in the game against VfL Osnabrück and was out for the rest of the season. In the summer of 2007, Ertural switched back to amateur football in Oberhausen and joined the A-Kreisligisten SG Oberhausen 92 . A year later he went to SC 1920 Oberhausen , where he matured into a goal scorer. He led the A-Kreisligisten in the 2010/11 season with 26 goals for promotion to the district league. The striker contributed 20 goals to keep up the league the following year. In the 2012/13 season, Ertural (32 games, 29 goals) only lost promotion to the Landesliga Niederrhein with the club on the last match day . He then moved to the district league club SC Blau-Weiß Oberhausen-Lirich . Also with Blau-Weiß Oberhausen, Ertural failed as second in the table in 2014, scoring 22 goals in 25 games. In the 2014/15 season, the striker and his club from Lirich finally managed to get promoted to the regional league, Ertural was involved with 38 goals in 32 games. In the 2015/16 state league season he was relegated with BW Oberhausen directly, but Ertural still scored 24 goals this season. For the 2016/17 season he returned to SC 1920 Oberhausen , which is now back in the district league , where he became a player-coach. He led the club confidently with 20 points ahead and 148: 45 goals for the championship and promotion to the district league, Ertural himself scored twelve goals this season.
