The sports club Adler Osterfeld 1922 e. V. is a German football club from the Oberhausen district of Osterfeld , which was founded in 1922 under the name DJK Adler Osterfeld . The first team of the club belonged between the seasons 1998/99 and 2004/05 of the soccer Oberliga Nordrhein . After voluntarily withdrawing from the league, the club slipped into the Niederrhein district league, where it has been playing since the beginning of the 2012/13 season.
Osterfeld plays its home games in the 4260- seat Waldstadion in the Rothebusch district . The stadium has been played on artificial turf since 2011 .
