The Fuchsbergkamm (Czech: Černohorská rozsocha ) is a geomorphological subunit of the Giant Mountains , which extends from the Plattenberg in a south-easterly direction to Janské Lázně (Johannisbad). In Czech the name refers to the Černá hora, in German to the Fuchsberg ( Liščí hora ). The highest peak of the ridge, however, is the Plattenberg ( Zadní planina )

geomorphology

The ridge branches off as a yoke structured by mountain groups from the high meadow to the southwest. On the south side the slopes of the Fuchsbergkamm fall into the Hohenelber Uplands ( Vrchlabská vrchovina ), in the west the Fuchsbergkamm is through the Kleine Elbe and Keilbach ( Klínový potok ). To the north the Fuchsberg ridge is separated from the eastern Bohemian ridge by the blue ground ( Modrý důl ) , in the east the Aupa river separates the Fuchsberg ridge from the Rosenberg highlands ( Růžohorská hornatina ) and from the Rehorn Mountains .
