The single-storey residential building with a gable roof has a richly decorated gable on its south side.

history

The mill was first mentioned in 1279 as the property of the Vilémov Benedictine monastery . It is one of the oldest mills on the Doubrava and was probably built in the second half of the 12th century or in the 13th century by the Vilémov monastery.

In 1556 the miller donated a new bell to the parish church of All Saints . With a weight of 20 hundred pounds, the St. John's bell was the largest of the four former bells and has been preserved to this day. At that time the mill had three mill wheels with nine grinding speeds .

In 1622, the owners of the mill, Jiřík and Kristýna Červenomlejnští, are known to be freemen under the estate of Zbyslav .

The current house was built around 1800. The mill house got its present form during the renovation in the second half of the 19th century.

In 1930 the mill belonging to Jan Potoček was operated by means of a Haag turbine and a Girard turbine with a gradient of 3 m and an output of 15 hp. The mill was shut down in the second half of the 20th century.

The residential and mill house have been protected as a cultural monument since 1958. Both buildings were renovated, the turbines in the mill house are no longer there. The property is for residential use and is not accessible, it is currently available for purchase.
