Česlovas Šopys played for at least one year in 1933 with FK Sveikata Kybartai , a club based in Kybartai on the border of the former German province of East Prussia . From 1934 to 1938 he played for MSK Kaunas , an operating team for the Kauno maistas meat company . In 1935 he was with the team Lithuanian champions.
In July 1933, Šopys made his debut in the Lithuanian national football team against Estonia . With the selection he took part in the Baltic Cup in 1935 , 1937 and 1938 . In total, he completed 16 international matches for the Lithuanian national team.
