Čikola is an approximately 46 km long river in the Zagora (Dalmatian hinterland) in Croatia that almost completely dries up in summer.
The spring is located a little above the village of Čavoglave , flows through Drniš and flows into the Krka River at Skradinski Buk .
Historically, the river was called Poljšica and in the Ottoman period Čikojla .
The river became famous through the song Čavoglave by Marko Perković . The first stanza of the song reads: “Na izvoru rijeke Čikole” , which means something like “At the source of the Čikola river”.
