Đồ Phồn
Bùi Huy Phồn (born December 16, 1911 or 1912 in Phượng Sơn , Bắc Giang Province , † October 31, 1990 in Hanoi ) was a Vietnamese writer . He wrote most of his works under the stage name Đồ Phồn , he also used the pseudonyms Bùi Như Lạc , Cười Suông , Việt Lệ , Ấm Hai , Lý Ba Lẽ and BHP .
Life
Bùi Huy Phồn was born in northern Vietnam and grew up in the district of Ứng Hòa near Hanoi. During the French colonial era, he began a career as a journalist and worked as a satirical poet and novelist. After the independence of North Vietnam , he worked in state and party services, headed various state publishing houses and in 1957 became a leading member of the newly founded writers' association ( Hội Nhà văn Việt Nam ).
