The İzmir Süper Amatoer Lig ( SAL for short ) is the top soccer division in the province of Izmir , Turkey . It is organized by the İzmir Amatör Spor Kulüpleri Federasyonu ( İzmir ASKF for short ), the amateur sports association in Izmir. From a hierarchical point of view, the İzmir Süper Amatoer Lig is the sixth highest league in Turkey.

There is a Beyaz Grup ( German : White Group ) and a Kırmızı Grup (German: Red Group ), 13 teams play in each group. There is a round trip and a second half. While the last three placed are relegated directly to the İzmir 1. Amatoer Lig, the first place goes directly to the Boelgesel Amatoer Lig , the highest amateur league in the country. The second and third place take part in the play-offs . In the play-off league there, four teams play against each other once on neutral ground, the first two places rise.
