Łódź miasto kultury (Eng. Łódź - City of Culture ) is a Polish advertising film shot in 2007, with which the city of Łódź applied as the Polish candidate for the European Capital of Culture 2016. The film was produced by Małgorzata Kamińska and Wojciech Bruszewski . The musical framework comes from Sebastian Kondratowicz and the band Elektryczny Węgorz .

“Łódź - City of Culture” shows people who are or were connected to Łódź in a special way. Among them are personalities like David Lynch , Artur Rubinstein , Jerzy Kosiński , István Szabó , Karl Dedecius , Jan AP Kaczmarek , Rob Krier and Władysław Reymont .
