Łucja Prus
Łucja Prus (born May 25, 1942 in Białystok , † July 3, 2002 in Warsaw ) was a Polish singer .
biography
Łucja Prus was a singer who was particularly popular in Poland from the 1950s to 1970s. She was also known for her work in animation and feature films. Famous u. a. her interpretation of the poem Nic dwa razy (“Nothing comes twice”) by the later Polish Nobel Prize winner Wisława Szymborska . Other big hits were u. a. Walc chopinowski (“Chopin's waltz”), Dookoła noc się stała (“It has become night all around”), Tango z różą w zębach (“Tango with a rose between your teeth”).
