Živko Đak
Živko Đak ( Serbian - Cyrillic Живко Ђак ; born January 4, 1942 in Belgrade , † January 2, 2011 in Novi Sad ) was a Yugoslav or Serbian painter.
Life
He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade and in London; in Belgrade received his doctorate in 1970 under Boško Karanović . He lived in Novi Sad .
His pictures are stylistically counted as Pop Art and New Figuration . In the 1990s he painted large-format watercolors, each depicting people, animals and plants in a geometrically simplified form. He taught at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.
